From the renovation of L.A.’s beloved Dodger Stadium to a London design project that honors the site’s Shakespearean history, the company’s real estate group has elevated and transformed iconic places worldwide. Project Liberty aims to create a healthier internet and society; fix social media and what it has broken; and, ultimately, strengthen democracy. As part of Project Liberty, McCourt Global is making DSNP available to the public and partnering with tech leaders to advance a web architecture that enables individuals to control their data and take charge of their social graph—all their digital relationships and creations, valuable components controlled by social media platforms.

In addition to advancing new technology, Project Liberty is ensuring that effective governance principles are embedded into tomorrow’s web. This work is led by the McCourt Institute – launched with founding partners Georgetown University and Sciences Po – which is supporting new research and bringing social scientists together with technologists to develop governance frameworks.
