Currently, the firm Hellman & Friedman is the main shareholder of the group. Verisure can be found in 16 countries – in Europe and Latin America – and already has more than 16,000 employees.

2006    Securitas Direct separates from the Securitas Group and lists on the Stockholm stock market as an independent company

2008    Verisure enters the South American market with its first branch in Chile

2009    Verisure is the new name of Securitas Direct consumer branch

2011    Bain Capital and Hellman & Friedman acquire Verisure

2015    Verisure reaches the 1,800,000 customers mark, strengthening its position as a leader in the alarms sector in Europe

2015    Hellman & Friedman acquires the interests of Bain Capital within Verisure Group and becomes its majority shareholder

2016    Verisure reaches + 2,000,000 customers mark

2017    Launch of Zero Vision alarm, the only alarm with an active human response, capable of stopping burglary

2018   Verisure reaches 2,700,000 customers worldwide

But it also offers customers the opportunity to manage the security system installed in their homes or businesses from any location through their mobile phone or tablet, thanks to the Verisure application.
