Undoubtedly, our lives and societies have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Governments and corporates worldwide worked tirelessly toward practical ways of addressing the crisis and had to ensure that they provided total usage of technological means to confront it. Every individual was revising the mindset to adapt to this predicament as well. One of the most intuitive demonstrations is that technologies have changed how people conduct business, receive education, and consume entertainment.
In today’s circumstances, the capability of providing integration of hardware, software, and services to customers becomes increasingly essential for corporates. ViewSonic, a pacesetter in the visual solution industry, is standing out to take upon this challenge.
“With over 35 years of expertise, ViewSonic is the leading global visual solutions provider. We are very focused and customer-centric in developing and providing the best solution for users.”
- Bonny Cheng, COO of ViewSonic
ViewSonic established its business and launched the first of line of ViewSonic monitors back in the early 90s. By riding with the trend of advancement of technologies, it expanded its product line to other visual solutions. Fast forward to now, ViewSonic still implements its ethos of “Inspire the world to see the difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary” to offer practical and satisfactory solutions for its customers with the drive of R&D.
Consistently placing customers in the imperative position, from VeiwSonic’s perspective, Research and Development are not by virtue of unavailing innovations; they should be considered as presenting a reasonable solution to serve the customers. Kevin Chu, Director of UNIVERSE Business Unit of ViewSonic, elaborates, “as a visual solutions provider, it is our duty to solve our customers’ problems by actively listening to our customers.” Therefore, ViewSonic developed the concept of “Ecosystem as a Service” (EaaS) to include the stakeholders within the industry in the process of solution development and to create new services together.
ViewSonic has achieved great results with the EaaS strategy and plans to implement the process in other segments to expand it globally, starting with the education sector.
Its visual display solutions have a proven excellent record of providing educators and learners unparalleled clarity and functionality. They have been a part of millions of classrooms and generations of learning through the use of monitors and projectors as well as the interactive displays and myViewBoard™ software suite.
Last year, ViewSonic launched a 3D virtual learning solution- UNIVERSE by ViewSonic, a metaverse built for education. UNIVERSE brings the benefits of in-person learning to an immersive online environment to increase student engagement, encourage collaboration and foster meaningful connections during any form of learning that happens online. As Peter Claxton, Senior Director for Education Technology in Europe of ViewSonic, affirms, “UNIVERSE will extend the space and learning opportunities for students, teachers, and universities moving forward.”
As ViewSonic continues to evolve and innovate, satisfying customers’ needs is at its heart. With the epoch-making products and solutions it offers for workspace, education, and entertainment, the company is reshaping the ecosystem of visual equipment utilization and presenting the future in front of people’s eyes.
